The DS-1212 M/AC is the tallest manual pushable scissor lift in the Daedalus range. Reaching a 12m working height (10m platform height) without a powered drive system is a meaningful cost advantage: you get the same height capability as the DS-1212 self-propelled model, but at lower capital cost and with simpler maintenance. For sites with fixed or predictable maintenance locations at 12m, a manual pushable machine is a practical and economical choice.
At 12m, work sessions tend to last longer and involve more lift cycles per task. The DS-1212 M/AC's dual power option - 230V single-phase AC or 24V DC battery - ensures the machine stays operational throughout the full shift. Connecting to mains power eliminates battery depletion risk on long tasks; battery mode provides flexibility in locations without accessible sockets.
The platform carries 350 kg at its full 12m working height, allowing two operators plus a standard tool load to work simultaneously. For overhead work at 12m - MEP installation, structural inspection, lighting maintenance, or ceiling systems - having two people on the platform in a single lift cycle reduces total job time compared to
single-operator lifts.
Operating at 12m requires a machine that will not move once positioned. The DS-1212 M/AC's pull-out screw-jack stabilisers deploy at all four corners to level the machine and fix it firmly to the floor before the platform is raised. The stabilisers compensate for minor floor surface variation and ensure the platform does not drift laterally during overhead work.
Every DS-1212 M C is CE certified to EN 280, confirming that its structural design, load capacity, stability margins, and safety systems have been independently verified at 12m working height. This is not a nominal certification - the 12m specification is tested, not extrapolated from shorter-height data. For procurement managers and EHS officers, this provides a verifiable compliance foundation for working-at-height risk assessments under India's Factories Act 1948 and IS 3521.
Controls are available at both the chassis level and the platform. A person on the ground can lower the platform independently if the operator on the platform is incapacitated or unable to operate the controls. At 12m, this ground-level override is a critical emergency provision and a practical requirement for responsible working-at-height procedure.
Without a hydraulic travel drive, drive motor, or powered steering system, the DS-1212 M/AC has a smaller set of serviceable components compared to the DS-1212 self-propelled. Fewer moving parts means fewer potential failure points, lower parts cost, and reduced scheduled maintenance intervals. For facilities tracking total cost of ownership, this is a meaningful financial argument in favour of the manual pushable configuration for fixed-location tasks.
The DS-1212 M AC provides a maximum working height of 12 metres and a platform height of 10 metres. It is designed for maintenance, installation, inspection, and repair work that requires safe access to elevated areas.
The lift has a rated platform capacity of 350 kg and can safely accommodate up to two operators along with their tools and materials.
Yes. The DS-1212 M AC can be supplied with either a 24V DC battery system or a 230V single-phase AC power source, allowing users to select the option that best suits their worksite requirements.
The DS-1212 M AC is manually pushed into position by the operator. Once positioned and stabilized, the platform is raised and lowered using a powered hydraulic system controlled from either the chassis or platform controls.
The lift includes manual stabilizers, a maximum height cut-off switch, flashing beacon, emergency relief valve, anti-skid platform, and dual control operation. These features help provide safe and stable elevated access.
The DS-1212 M AC is commonly used for facility maintenance, electrical installations, warehouse operations, HVAC servicing, building maintenance, and industrial inspections where a 12-metre working height is required.
Innovating to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
