Because the DS-706 AC is typically operated by a single person, its safety systems are designed with solo use in mind. Screw-jack stabilisers must be deployed before the platform is raised, preventing any movement during work. A mechanical height cut-off switch prevents platform over-extension. Dual ground/platform controls allow the operator to manage the machine from either position.

The DS-706 AC is rated for one operator at a 200 kg platform load.
